In case you'd like to try the recipe, here it is...

Chicken and Dumplings in a Pesto Cream Sauce

2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

6 tablespoons of butter (melted)

1 cup of milk

Mix ingredients together and then roll with a rolling pin.

Use pizza cutter to create 2 inch squares for dumplings

Cut up individual pieces of chicken and season with oregano and cilantro.

Put the chicken on the dough and fold the dumplings.

Drop in boiling about 2-3 minutes, they should rise to the surface.

Take them out and place in a bowl.

Cream and pesto sauce:

1 cup of light cream

1 stick of butter

3-4 tablespoons of pesto mix (preferably from a jar)

Sprinkle parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon of chopped garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil

Saute garlic and olive oil in the pan

Add butter, cream and pesto

Add chicken dumplings

Cook for about five minutes

Cover for about 10 minutes on simmer

Add parmesan cheese

Voila...dinner is served!
